INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

About program

As a graduate of International Relations, you will be familiar with the functioning of international cooperation platforms and you will be able to analyse domestic problems in the international perspective. During your studies, you will learn two foreign languages, including one at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. We offer full-time and part time studies.

We will prepare you for work in:

  • international, governmental and non-governmental organizations,
  • consulates and missions of foreign states in Poland,

Specializations

Management of migration processes

Why is it worth to choose the specialization in Migration Process Management? You will develop the practical skills of a professional workshop related to the service and support of various groups of migrants in Poland and the EU. You will implement projects of assistance, support and integration of foreigners in Poland. You will expand your knowledge about the migration processes in the Republic of Poland as well as the national and ethnic structure of selected countries. You will develop the competences and skills necessary for intercultural communication. You will learn how to implement international educational programs and cross-border cooperation projects. You will get to know the backstage of working in institutions and state bodies of the Republic of Poland responsible for migration and asylum policy.

A graduate of the specialization can find a job in: departments for citizenship and repatriation of Voivodship Offices, offices for foreigners, institutions of local government dealing with foreigners, government and non-governmental organizations for migration and asylum, institutions of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, institutions of the Ministry of foreign affairs, recruitment companies, international corporations, companies or institutions implementing cross-border cooperation projects or international educational programs.

International business and cross-border cooperation

Why is it worth to choose the international business and cross-border cooperation specialty? You will acquire the skills of a professional workshop, including: how to implement cross-border cooperation projects, how to recognize the needs of communities, institutions, companies dealing with cross-border cooperation, how to solve conflicts occurring in cross-border cooperation, to apply the rules and procedures of cross-border cooperation, to conduct international negotiations. After completing the specialization, the graduate can find a job in: small and medium enterprises operating on international markets, in institutions and enterprises related to international trade, border guard posts, companies implementing cross-border cooperation projects, in state administration units related to foreign and economic policy.
