World Refugee Day is an international day organized by the United Nations to honor refugees from around the world. It takes place every year on June 20th and it aims to recognize the strength and courage of the people who were forced to flee the conflict and persecution of their country. World Refugee Day is an opportunity for building empathy and understanding of their situation, recognizing their strength in rebuilding their life, as well as showing how and why the world can do more to integrate refugees, generating hope and action.
WSPA is participating in celebrating the World Refugee Day.
On June 20th (Thursday) from 12 PM to 2 PM a panel discussion titled “War refugees from Ukraine – legal status, practice” will be held at our school. The discussion will be moderated by: Maria Mazur, PhD, Assoc. Prof. (WSPA) and Paweł Prokop, MA. More information about the event can be found at wspa.pl/wydarzenia >>
