Dr. Aleš Trunk earned his PhD in 2018 from the University of Primorska, Faculty of Management, specializing in economics, with a focus on international reinsurance systems and the labor market. He also completed his undergraduate degree in management and a master’s degree in economics and finance at the same faculty. Currently, he is a lecturer and researcher at MFDPŠ. Dr. Trunk collaborates with the Center for Legal Information Studies – Taranto Observatory, Italy, and Pegaso University, Naples, Italy, as well as Pegaso International University in Malta. He publishes in international scientific journals and focuses on economics, business, labor markets, corporate finance, international finance, leadership and management, project management, education management, and financial literacy. He is involved in several Erasmus+ and Horizon projects and serves as an expert for the European Commission in evaluating and monitoring EU-funded projects and contracts. Dr. Trunk is a member of editorial boards of several international scientific journals with impact factors, including the Global Journal of Social Sciences Studies, Human Systems Management, International Journal of Innovation and Learning, International Journal of Management, Knowledge and Learning, and the International Journal of Value Chain Management.
