Professor of International Management and Project Management at Deggendorf Institute of Technology (Germany). He studied Business Administration at the University of Regensburg, where he also received his PhD (1997) with a dissertation on outsourcing of services.
He gained professional experience as a manager in international companies such as Lurgi AG, Azurix Corp., and Passavant Roediger, where he was responsible for strategic development, post-merger integration, project management, and business processes across Europe, the USA, South America, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia.
Since 2001, he has been a professor at Deggendorf, serving as Director of International Programs (Deggendorf Institute of Management and Technology), Erasmus Coordinator, and Head of the Student Consulting group. He has taught and directed MBA programs in Germany, Australia, Brazil, and the UK, and worked as a trainer and consultant for companies including Deloitte, Puma, Abbott, DZ BANK, and Industriepark Gendorf, delivering seminars on project management, leadership, cross-cultural communication, and presentation techniques.
He is the author and co-author of numerous publications on project management, outsourcing, virtual organizations, and international entrepreneurship, and has been invited as a visiting professor and speaker at universities and conferences across Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, and Australia.
He is fluent in German and English, with good knowledge of Spanish.
