Zemborzycki Reservoir / Zalew Zemborzycki
Zemborzycki Reservoir is an artificial reservoir in the southern part of Lublin and one of the city’s most popular recreation areas. It was created in 1974 by damming the Bystrzyca River and today serves recreational, sailing, fishing and flood-control functions. Students can spend time there walking, cycling, sunbathing, sailing, fishing or enjoying seasonal water attractions. In the summer season, the area around the reservoir offers places such as Słoneczny Wrotków, a recreational complex with outdoor swimming pools and space for relaxation.
