Kerry Brown is Professor of Employment and Industry in the School of Business and Law at Edith Cowan University, WA. As current Past President and Board Member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management and a research scholar awarded many research grants, she is committed to applied research supporting better organisational management and policy. She publishes widely on management topics and has published over 200 scholarly journal articles and books.
A member (since 2012) of the Australian Standards Mirror Committee for Asset Management and a Member of the International Standards Organisation Technical Committee TC251 Asset Management. Her contributions in infrastructure management include Co-Convenor of WG7 Public Policy and Asset Management developing ISO standard 55011. She is a member of the Institute of Public Works Engineers Australasia (IPWEA) and Asset Management Committee since 2022 offering expert academic advice and strategic direction on Asset Management. She is a board member of the Asset Institute and a committee member of the Rylington Park Institute for Agricultural Research and Training.
Prof Brown specialises in project management; business collaboration, networks and business clusters; capability, strategy, management and policy for infrastructure and asset management; negotiation; and, public management and policy.
