Jacek Lis, MA

Chancellor of the University College of Enterprise and Administration (WSPA) in Lublin. Graduate of International Relations at UMCS in Lublin (2012), completed postgraduate studies in Management and Marketing at WSPA in Lublin (2015), and holds a Prince2 Foundation Project Management certificate (2014). Since 2010, involved in acquiring, implementing, managing, and reporting projects funded by the European Union.

Since 2019, employed at WSPA in managerial positions within the External Projects Department, and since July 2022 serves as Chancellor of the university college. In the External Projects Department, oversaw the implementation of 16 externally funded EU projects, including POWER and Erasmus+ programs, developing innovative educational products, such as initiatives supporting students’ soft skills and the education of persons with disabilities. Managed the project team and the WSPA Academic Career Office, cooperating with EU funding institutions, including the National Centre for Research and Development, the Foundation for the Development of the Education System, and the Lublin Voivodeship Marshal’s Office.

Initiator and co-creator of the EUROPE DIRECT Lublin WySPA European information point, part of which includes the Office for Persons with Disabilities, a lending service for equipment for people with disabilities, and equipped laboratories for universal design education.

During his tenure as Chancellor, a range of university infrastructure upgrades were implemented, including renovations of lecture halls and classrooms, building refurbishments, establishment of the academic kindergarten WySPA Malucha, launch of the Nursing undergraduate program, and more than 15 new postgraduate study programs, including MBA programs. Over 50 cooperation agreements with commercial entities were signed, and four specialized laboratories were established (cybersecurity in collaboration with Capgemini, data analytics with Lingaro, game design with Pyramid Games, and artificial intelligence with Sii).

In 2023, awarded the Medal of the President of Lublin for contributions to higher education and the development of WSPA in Lublin.
