AHF Poland and the Higher School of Entrepreneurship and Administration in Lublin invite you to participate in the World AIDS Day celebrations. For this occasion, we have prepared a two-day event for you:
On December 1, 2023 (Friday) at 4:00 PM, room 223 – we invite male and female students to a meeting: “Everything You Need to Know About HIV,” where you can have the chance to win prizes. After the meeting, for those interested, there will be an opportunity to undergo a quick, free, and anonymous HIV test and receive free condoms. The meeting will be conducted in English, and tests (in room 224) will be available in Polish, English, and Ukrainian (depending on needs).
On December 2, 2023 (Saturday) – auditorium 018 – at 10:00 am, we invite you to a meeting in Polish: “Everything You Need to Know About HIV” (participants are also eligible for prizes). After the meeting, there will again be an opportunity for testing (in room 212).
AHF (AIDS Healthcare Foundation), based in Los Angeles, is a global non-profit organization providing high-quality care and services for people living with HIV. AHF’s actions ensure universal, easy, and quick access to prevention, testing, treatment, and care for HIV, tuberculosis, hepatitis, and sexually transmitted diseases. It provides life-saving services in its own facilities as well as through grants, emergency funds, strategic partnerships, and other initiatives.
AHF Poland offers free and confidential rapid HIV tests, counseling, and advice for all those in need. The tests are conducted by counselors qualified in HIV testing using the most advanced rapid testing technology.
Since 1988, December 1 has been observed as World AIDS Day. On this day, meetings, events, and educational activities take place worldwide to promote HIV/AIDS prevention.
